Job summary

JLES Group Ltd is recruiting a proactive SHEQ Coordinator to join our growing team. You will promote health, safety, quality and environmental culture across our UK sites, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.

You will support QHSE management, training delivery, record-keeping and reporting while collaborating with operational teams and site staff across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH/IOSHH qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in Health & Safety and/or Compliance in construction.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel to offices/sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QHSE Manager with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (QHSE) activities.
• Support development, implementation and continual improvement of QHSE policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor the Company’s training plan.
• Provide administrative support for Quality management.
• Maintain accident and incident records, spreadsheets and reporting documentation.
• Ensure staff training records are up to date and compliant with legislation.
• Assist with QHSE performance monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Prepare QHSE reports and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and review the QHSE management system performance.
• Distribute monthly, quarterly and annual QHSE reports.
• Participate in QHSE meetings and track follow-up actions.
• Assist with supplier/subcontractor QHSE approvals and pre-qualification.
