Job summary

ARCO is hiring a Safety Centre Advisor on a fixed-term contract to deliver outstanding customer service and expert safety guidance on site in Bracknell. You will support customers with safety equipment, conduct face fit testing and help manage hire, servicing and maintenance of equipment while driving service excellence and sales through collaboration with Safety Services and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge or awareness of confined space and safety equipment is advantageous.
• Performance-focused with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft applications.
• Driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer service across a multi-functional site, collaborating with Arco and Safety Services.
• Carry out face fit testing as an accredited Face Fit Tester and maintain best practice.
• Ensure supply of safety equipment for hire and provide technical advice on equipment selection.
• Meet delegates on arrival, sign them in, provide site inductions and ensure safety on site.
• Develop knowledge of Arco products and services to support customers and drive sales.
• Handle customer enquiries through to successful resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales and Safety Services to drive sales.
• Deliver and drive retail sales targets.
• Make outbound calls to promote services and retail offers.
• Support servicing and maintenance of safety equipment.
• Support maintenance of Health & Safety standards within the building.
