This non-operational, rotational position requires maintaining administration systems, producing monthly intelligence reports, training staff on information gathering, and ensuring timely updates across databases

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative roles, preferably in security or custody settings.
• Strong data handling and report preparation skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate information from various sources to inform safer custody decisions and incident management.
• Use data and trend analysis to keep staff informed about safer custody issues across the establishment.
• Produce a monthly Safer Custody Intelligence Report and present at relevant meetings.
• Update management on local, regional and national safer custody issues and intelligence.
• Maintain and update information recording systems and ensure staff are trained in their use.
• Collate information on SDIs and coordinate awareness sessions for the area of work.
