Job summary

Granville Academy is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Officer to support the day-to-day safeguarding across the academy, working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and safeguarding team. The role includes providing advice, ensuring referrals are properly followed up, and contributing to safeguarding training and early-help processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day coordination and management of safeguarding across the Academy.
• Provide advice and guidance when concerns are raised and ensure referrals are followed up.
• Contribute to safeguarding training, early-help processes, and support for looked-after children.
• Provide emotional health and wellbeing support to pupils through one-to-one and targeted group sessions.
