Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Social Worker for a long-term contract in a genuinely outstanding children's service. The role includes court work, flexible, London-commutable arrangements, and manageable caseloads to support high-quality decision-making.

You will join a well-structured safeguarding team with experienced managers who prioritise professional practice, stability, and supportive leadership while delivering timely outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Recent safeguarding experience involving court work.
• Knowledge of child protection processes and care proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage safeguarding caseload including children subject to care proceedings.
• Complete high-quality assessments, statements, and care plans for court.
• Undertake statutory safeguarding interventions to protect children at risk.
• Collaborate with families, legal services, and partners to achieve timely outcomes.
