Job summary

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Safeguarding Practitioner to join the Corporate Safeguarding Team. You will support statutory duties and staff safeguarding responsibilities for children, young people and adults at risk.

You will work with external agencies, help develop and audit safeguarding policies, and promote high practice standards across services. DBS checks are required with optional Update Service enrolment.

Qualifications

• RGN/RMN or equivalent qualification.
• Degree or working towards.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Safeguarding, Named Nurse and Specialist Practitioners in statutory roles.
• Promote quality and effectiveness of health workers' safeguarding responses.
• Interpret and apply up-to-date research to clinical practice in safeguarding.
