A prominent health service provider is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Practitioner to join its Complex Health Hub. You will ensure high standards in safeguarding practices, engage with multidisciplinary teams and promote a collaborative approach to child and adult safeguarding. The position requires extensive experience in safeguarding along with proficiency in problem-solving and role modeling NNUH's PRIDE values. The job also includes providing training and supervision to staff and will contribute to the Trust-wide safeguarding policies.
The Complex Health Hub is seeking an experienced safeguarding professional to join the team to deliver a high-quality; evidence-based service that provides training and expertise in safeguarding for the Trust.
The Safeguarding Practitioner will be a highly visible team member, developing, promoting and maintaining high professional standards in safeguarding practice, for unborn's, children and adults; ensuring the Trust meets its statutory responsibilities for safeguarding. The postholder will be based within the Hub, taking a Think Family approach, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and multi-agency organisations to coordinate safeguarding responses and promote a sense of shared responsibility. Together with the Named Professionals, the post holder will contribute to the overall trust safeguarding policies and strategies, providing assurance to the Head of Safeguarding and Complex Health hub, Director of Complex Health & Professional Standards, the Executive Lead for Safeguarding and Safeguarding Assurance Committee, as well as escalate identified areas of concern for improvement.
The postholder will provide advice and expertise to fellow professionals, and work with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies to assist in providing a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.
