Belmont Recruitment is representing Slough Council to recruit an Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead for a 3-6 month contract with possible extension or permanent opportunity. The role is hybrid, based primarily at Slough, with 3 days in the office at 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EJ.

The successful candidate will provide safeguarding expertise to partners, deputise for the strategic lead when required, and lead multi-agency learning and policy development to support safeguarding

Qualifications

• Extensive practice safeguarding adults experience.
• Experience delivering safeguarding training to partners or staff.
• Proven ability to manage staff and resources within budgets.

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Slough Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead this role will be based at: 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EJ, Hybrid 3 days office based.

The right candidate will:

• To provide professional safeguarding expertise and support to safeguarding partners to deliver on the Safeguarding Partnership safeguarding priorities.
• To deputise for the strategic lead for safeguarding partnerships when necessary.
• To work as a member of the Safeguarding Partnership team, proactively supporting the team objectives and responding to high, changing and sometimes conflicting demands and promoting continuous development.
• To provide specialist safeguarding advice, guidance and support to partners on their in-house training and policy development, including accountability to the safeguarding partnership on the impact of their in-house training provision.
• To carry out an annual multi agency learning needs analysis with partners to provide an evidence base for multi-agency learning.
• To ensure that all multi-agency safeguarding learning opportunities are clearly publicised and in good time.
• To engage with national, regional, and local safeguarding policy forums to ensure local multi-agency developments are up to date.
• To analyse a variety of information sources in relation to safeguarding and distil complex and contentious information into local comprehensible applications and communications such as briefings for a wide range of professional audiences, and the general public.

We require the following:

• Extensive practice experience of working directly to safeguard adults.
• Experience of providing safeguarding training.
• Managing staff and resources effectively within agreed budgets.
