Job summary

Outwood Academy Riverside is seeking a Safeguarding Officer to coordinate safeguarding referrals, manage documentation and lead multi-agency interventions protecting vulnerable students and families.

The role requires significant expertise in child protection, working with external agencies, and guiding the academy’s response to complex safeguarding issues. Start ASAP; 37 hours/week, term-time plus 15 days at the Middlesbrough campus.

• Ability to coordinate referrals and work with multi-agency partners.
• Strong documentation and case management skills.

Salary (Actual Salary): £27,438

Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time plus 15 days.

As a Safeguarding Officer, you will be pivotal in coordinating safeguarding referrals, managing documentation, and initiating multi-agency interventions to protect vulnerable students and their families. This strategic and hands-on role requires working directly with external agencies and leading the academy’s response to complex child protection issues.
