Job summary

Outwood Academy Riverside is seeking an experienced safeguarding professional to manage and coordinate the academy’s response to safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action is taken and documentation is kept confidential via CPOMS. You will lead multi-agency collaboration and act as the lead professional for Team Around the Child meetings when required.

The role involves direct work with children and families, promoting potential and preventing harm, plus producing safeguarding statistics

Qualifications

• Significant safeguarding and child protection experience.
• Experience working with children and families in public/private/voluntary sectors.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safeguarding responses to disclosures and ensure appropriate action.
• Lead multi-agency referrals and teamwork through Team Around the Child meetings when needed.
• Maintain confidential documentation and collate statistical information.
• Oversee in-year admissions related to safeguarding and school processes.
