Job summary

Clarion Housing Group in London is recruiting three Safeguarding Officers to support residents and strengthen safeguarding across our communities. You’ll oversee case management, data recording and reporting to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policy.

You’ll work with operational teams, partner agencies and stakeholders in a hybrid role, travelling to London when required. A proactive approach, attention to detail and strong communication are essential to protect

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of safeguarding case management and maintain the organisation's Safeguarding Register.
• Support governance, audit and reporting processes in line with statutory requirements and policy.
• Collaborate with operational teams, partner agencies and internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate safeguarding risks.
• Analyse data to support effective decision-making and assurance reporting.

Salary: London - £36,993 - £43,035 per annum / National - £34,109 - £39,539 per annum
Hours: 36 per week

We are looking for three dedicated Safeguarding Officers to join our growing Safeguarding & Vulnerability Team and play a vital role in protecting some of the most vulnerable people we serve.

Reporting to the Safeguarding Lead and working closely with the Head of Vulnerability, you will help ensure that safeguarding concerns are managed effectively, recorded accurately and progressed in line with statutory requirements, organisational policy and best practice.

This is a key role within our safeguarding function, providing oversight of safeguarding case management, maintaining the organisation's Safeguarding Register and supporting robust governance, audit and reporting processes. You will work collaboratively with operational teams, partner agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure safeguarding risks are identified, monitored and acted upon appropriately.

We're looking for individuals who combine strong organisational skills with a genuine commitment to resident safety and wellbeing. You'll be confident managing sensitive information, maintaining accurate records and analysing data to support effective decision-making and assurance reporting.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at one of our offices. Candidates will be expected to work flexibly between the office and home. You must have the ability to travel to London when required.

The London pay scale will only apply to people who live within the M25. If you live outside the M25, your salary will be based on your location and aligned to a different pay scale as detailed above.
