Public Health Wales is seeking a registered nurse or midwife to join the Communicable Disease and Inclusion Health Programme within the Health Protection Division, for a fixed-term/secondment role of 6 months to support safeguarding within the Sexual Health Team.

The post holder will work with colleagues and partner agencies to promote effective safeguarding, protect adults and children, and ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding duties.

Formación

• Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration.
• Postgraduate qualification relevant to safeguarding.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policy and best practice (children and adults).
• Experience in leadership and multi-agency safeguarding processes.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safeguarding practice and protect adults and children.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to support outcomes for individuals and communities.
• Deliver safeguarding training and contribute to policy development where appropriate.
