Star Salford Academy, part of Star Academies, is seeking a dedicated support staff member to help deliver outstanding support in a disadvantaged community. The role involves safeguarding responsibilities, managing relationships with pupils, families and key agencies, and contributing to the academy’s educational outcomes.

Star Salford Academy is a leading 5-form entry secondary school for ages 11 to 16, opened in 2023, and part of Star Academies.

Qualifications

• Valid Named Person Child Protection Training is required.
• Experience managing relationships with pupils, parents and Children’s Social Care and other key agencies.
• Experience completing referrals to Children’s Social Care, Early Help and other agencies.
• Ability to write effective and detailed reports.
• Ability to manage records effectively.

Who we’re looking for

Star Salford Academy is a 5-form entry mixed secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds, which opened in September 2023. Like all Star schools, Star Salford Academy has a leadership specialism. We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action.
