Star Salford Academy is seeking an exceptional Vice Principal to help lead us on our journey of sustained excellence. You will work closely with the Principal to deliver outstanding attainment and educational leadership in a disadvantaged community.

The successful candidate will bring proven senior leadership experience in a school setting, be highly motivated, and share our STAR values.

About Star Salford Academy

Star Salford Academy is a 5-form entry mixed secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds, which opened in September 2023. Like all Star schools, Star Salford Academy has a leadership specialism.

We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action. Our pursuit of educational excellence is based upon our fundamental belief that every pupil has the capacity to become a successful and inspirational leader.

During its opening year, the school admitted an intake of 150 pupils in Year 7. We will continue to admit a new intake of Year 7 pupils at the beginning of each academic year.

We’re looking for an exceptional Vice Principal to help lead us on our journey of sustained excellence.

We want to hear from outstanding leaders who have proven success within a school leadership role. You will be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with the natural ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and peers.

As an exceptional teacher and leader, you will make a significant contribution to the success and leadership of our school, working closely with the Principal to deliver excellence in education. As a Star leader, you’ll join the Star Academies family, a high-performing and supportive network of primary and secondary schools with some of the best leaders in education.

You will have:

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
