Job summary

Community Care Live in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Education Team Manager. The role, based hybrid at Loxley House, offers a salary of £53,051–£56,293 and a chance to lead education safeguarding policy, practice and partnerships across the city.

You will shape safeguarding strategy, drive continuous improvement and work with schools, academy trusts, and safeguarding partners to keep children safe. This is a high-impact leadership position in a transforming service.

As Safeguarding Education Team Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring schools and education providers across Nottingham have the support, challenge and expertise they need to create safe environments where children can thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Council's education safeguarding function, working at a strategic level with schools, academy trusts, Children's Services and safeguarding partners. You'll provide leadership on safeguarding practice, drive continuous improvement and help shape the systems, policies and partnerships that keep children safe.

Leading a dedicated team, you'll build strong relationships across the education sector, provide expert advice and challenge, and respond to emerging safeguarding issues and priorities. You'll be confident influencing others, driving improvement and ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for an experienced leader with:

• Relevant professional qualification (QTS, Social Work or equivalent).
• Significant experience of leading education safeguarding services and practice.
• Proven track record of strategic leadership and service improvement.
• Strong partnership, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
