Job summary

The Kingsway School is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Assistant to join our safeguarding team and help uphold safeguarding as a core responsibility across all aspects of students' education.

In September 2026, we will be joined by a new Assistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead with significant safeguarding experience from another local secondary school, and our current lead will guide the transition.

We are delighted to share this uniqueopportunity for a Safeguarding Assistant.Safeguarding is central to all aspects of students' education at TKS andall of our staff recognise that safeguarding is everyone's moral as well asstatutory responsibility. In September 2026, we will be joined by a newAssistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead who comes withsignificant safeguarding experience from another local Secondary school. Ourcurrent Operational Safeguarding lead is well established in the role and willbe instrumental in supporting and guiding the newly appointed SafeguardingAssistant. It is therefore an exciting time to be joining a committed andpassionate team of safeguarding who between them have both a wealth ofexperience and the drive to shape the future of safeguarding for our students.
