Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Safeguarding Advisor to join the DIUCS Safeguarding Team on a permanent basis. The role covers Safeguarding Adults, Children & Young People’s agendas with flexibility for hours including evenings and weekends.

You will deliver safeguarding advice, contribute to education and training programs, and work with partner agencies to improve safeguarding outcomes across Dorset IUCS.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding adults and/or children.
• Ability to deliver safeguarding education and training.
• Ability to work with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective safeguarding advice to staff across front line services.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate safeguarding education and training programs.
