The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Safeguarding Adult Practitioner to join the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Patient Team. The postholder will provide visible, accessible and responsive safeguarding advice to clinical teams across the organisation.

You will work with colleagues and partners to support safe, person‑centred safeguarding practice, advise on Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and contribute to safeguarding education, reviews

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding adults.
• Knowledge of Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a safeguarding team.

Responsabilités

• Provide accessible expert advice on adult safeguarding.
• Support staff to identify and escalate safeguarding concerns.
• Promote Think Family with professional curiosity.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners.
• Contribute to safeguarding data and governance.
• Assist with Safeguarding Adult Reviews and related processes.
• Support staff development and safeguarding education.
• Share information to protect adults at risk.
