Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Safeguarding Administrator in Buckland Hospital (Dover) to support safeguarding operations. The role is 22.5 hours per week (Tue-Thu, 9am-5pm) within East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, offering full training and a pathway to develop within the NHS.

Experience in NHS administration is preferred; training will be provided to perform scanning, filing, data entry and other routine duties while handling sensitive information with care.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience within the NHS.
• Post holder must have NHS administrative experience; 1 year preferred.
• Experience with data entry, filing, and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Scan and file documents (electronic and paper).
• Perform data entry and basic research using hospital systems.
• Carry out general office duties.
• Handle sensitive or distressing information appropriately.

Pay Banding: Band 3 - £12.94 per hour

The postholder must have the following experience:

Job Description

The admin role involves scanning, filing (both electronic and paper), data entry, basic research using hospital systems, general office duties and the handling of sensitive and distressing information. Full training will be provided.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

• 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
