Job summary
IMSERV is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Astral Product Team in Milton Keynes. You’ll translate market opportunities into clear, actionable requirements for our SaaS platform within an agile delivery environment, collaborating with IT, operations and commercial teams to assess impact and drive delivery.
You will engage directly with customers and stakeholders, write user stories and acceptance criteria, support bids and propositions, and help roll out IMSERV Astral to new and existing
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on SaaS products, digital platforms or software solutions within agile delivery environments is essential.
- Experience supporting the delivery and evolution of multi-tenant SaaS products used by multiple customers.
- Working data literacy: SQL or analytics tooling for sizing and validation.
- Energy or utilities experience desirable: metering, settlement, data.
- Exposure to data products or APIs and familiarity with Microsoft 365/Azure and Salesforce are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate market needs into detailed product requirements with IT, operations, commercial and customer-facing teams.
- Act as the voice of the product, balancing customer requirements with broader strategy and roadmap.
- Facilitate stakeholder conversations to align requirements with product objectives.
- Engage directly with customers to understand problems and validate proposed solutions.
- Turn agreed needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for developers.
