Job summary

Kahootz UK is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the availability, security and evolution of our AWS-based SaaS platform. You will operate and troubleshoot production services, automate deployments and help deliver repeatable environments for new markets.

You will collaborate with R&D, DevOps and operations teams, drive infrastructure as code, containerisation and security enhancements, and contribute to architecture decisions for integrations and future platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and troubleshooting production workloads in AWS.
• Solid Linux systems knowledge and networking fundamentals.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar; IaC and CI/CD familiarity.
• Understanding of security, compliance and risk management in SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide production operations and service reliability for the AWS-based platform.
• Lead platform engineering efforts to improve reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment patterns.
• Drive containerisation and Kubernetes initiatives, and support expansion into new markets.
