Alexander Charles is recruiting a Financial Controller for a private equity backed technology group in central London. The role reports to the CFO and will own day-to-day finance operations, statutory compliance and month-end close for a SaaS business.

You will drive GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition, track SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn), support budgeting and cash forecasting, and lead a growing finance team as the company scales toward an Finance Director path.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualifications.
• Experience as Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in B2B SaaS/tech/high-growth environments.
• Strong understanding of subscription revenue models, deferred revenue accounting, and SaaS metrics.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and GL maintenance.
• Deliver accurate month-end close (Day 5 target) with full balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead SaaS revenue recognition and billing processes per GAAP/IFRS; align with contracts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs, and variance analysis.
• Track SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC payback) and support budgeting and forecasting.
