Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is offering a 12-month paid internship based at our head office in Winnersh, requiring a minimum of two days per week on site. You will contribute to RWE study protocol development, literature research, and governance activities while learning through coaching and internal resources.

Currently studying for a Life Sciences degree with three A levels ABB and a strong drive to work with real-world data.

Qualifications

Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences and completing a placement year as part of the course.
A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent; at least one STEM or social-science subject desirable.
The right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
The ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
Comfortable with Microsoft 365; intermediate Excel skills; Excellent PowerPoint skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate data into clear stories and next best actions.

Responsibilities

Support protocol and study design development: Assist in drafting or reviewing components of RWE study protocols.
Deep research into Innovative RWE topics and real-world data sources.
Summarise findings and present insights to internal stakeholders.
Assist in managing timelines and milestones across active RWE projects.
Coordinate RWE protocol reviews and governance processes.
