Job summary

Sampson Park Vets in Staverton, part of Inspiring Vet Care, invites applications for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (part-time, 35 hours/week). You’ll join a supportive team of vets, RVN, SVN, VCA and reception, delivering high standards of patient and client care.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Willingness to mentor student nurses in the future.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing.
• Provide inpatient care and support patient recovery.
• Assist with nurse consultations and preventative healthcare.
• Clinical coaching of student nurses may also be required in the near future.
