Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care’s Staverton practice is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a part-time 35-hour week across three days (08:30-19:00) with TOIL on Saturdays. You'll work with 3 vets, an RVN, SVN, VCA and a reception team to deliver high-quality patient and client care.

You'll have opportunities to develop skills in nurse clinics, theatre and inpatient care, supported by a culture focused on wellbeing, development, and team collaboration within a primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
• Provide inpatient care and support patient recovery
• Assist with nurse consultations and preventative healthcare
• Clinical coaching of student nurses may also be required in the near future
