Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Sampson Park Vets in Staverton. This part-time role offers 35 hours per week across three days, with shifts 08:30–19:00 and some additional hours, alongside a supportive team of vets, RVN, SVN, VCA and reception staff.

You will have opportunities to develop your nursing skills, including nurse clinics and Schedule 3 procedures, with clinical development encouraged and a strong focus on client care and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing medical/surgical nursing skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing.
• Provide inpatient care and support patient recovery.
• Assist with nurse consultations and preventative healthcare.
• Clinical coaching of student nurses may be required in the near future.
