Job summary

Vets4Pets Northampton Hospital is seeking an experienced RVN to join as Clinical Operations Administrator with flexible, hybrid work options. The role supports clinicians and clients across clinical and administrative tasks while offering part-time or full-time patterns.

Regular hospital attendance is required to support the clinical team. The ideal candidate will utilise RVN experience to coordinate care, manage client communications, and assist with complex cases in a busy 24/7 hospital

Qualifications

• Experienced RVN with solid clinical knowledge
• Excellent communication and diary-management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
• Willingness to attend the hospital within reasonable commuting distance of Northampton

Responsibilities

• Client and clinical support: handle enquiries, provide pre/post-operative information, prepare summaries and communicate treatment plans
• Estimates and treatment plans: prepare estimates, update plans, explain costs to clients
• Prescriptions and medication administration: process prescriptions and liaise with vets
• Procedure and diary management: manage bookings for surgery, diagnostics and multi-stage cases
• Referrals and second opinions: coordinate referrals and second opinions with internal/external practices
• Laboratory results: contact clients with results as directed by a veterinary surgeon
• AHC and OV66 support: assist with AHC and Official Veterinarian documentation
• Insurance support: support insurance team with clinical information and documentation
• Clinical complaints support: assist with investigations of clinical complaints
