Job summary

PGG Wrightson in Heriot, Scotland, requires an energetic Leader to head a small but strong Rural Supplies team in our Heriot Store on a full-time permanent basis. You will lead sales staff to provide technical sales advice to agricultural customers and ensure the store operates efficiently in line with company strategy.

Qualifications

Proven leadership, management and sales skills, preferably in a retail environment.
Knowledge of New Zealand agricultural sector and technical expertise.
Excellent oral and written communication; ability to relate to staff and customers.
Background in administration and inventory management would be helpful.
Full, current NZ driver licence is a must.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue opportunities for growth with existing and potential clients.
Complete store administration and inventory management processes in line with company procedures.
Prepare, submit and monitor monthly sales budgets; manage inventory for the store.
Provide effective management of the store team including coaching and development.
