Job summary

Beach Baker Property Recruitment is seeking a Rural Planning Consultant / Associate Director in East Sussex. You will own planning projects, including applications, appeals and Local Plan representations for landowners, developers and land promoters.

The role requires MRTPI qualification and strong client management, report writing, and teamwork. You will advise commercially while supporting senior colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong experience managing clients at all levels and producing high‑standard written reports and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your own planning projects and contribute to a growing portfolio.
• Manage planning applications, appeals and Local Plan representations for landowners, developers and land promoters.
• Support senior colleagues on more complex or strategic instructions.
• Provide clear, commercial planning advice and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure timely delivery and budget management.
