Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Planner to join a well‑established independent planning consultancy in Pulborough. You will manage a varied caseload, prepare and submit planning applications, and provide expert planning advice across the business.

The role requires 3–4 years' consultancy experience, MRTPI or AssocRTPI accreditation, and strong client management skills. Knowledge of Sussex/Surrey planning is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience within a planning consultancy.
• MRTPI or AssocRTPI accreditation.
• Experience independently managing planning projects.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of the Sussex and Surrey planning landscape (preferred).
