Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology to lead the neurophysiology service at Penrith Hospital. The role spans out-patient and in-patient consultations, with opportunities to develop subspecialties and participate in teaching and research.

The appointee will contribute to clinical governance, supervise staff, and support service development across NCIC’s sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with patients, colleagues and managers.
• Ability to work in multiprofessional teams and training environments.
• Enthusiasm to develop Neurophysiology services.

Responsibilities

• Provide Neurophysiological services across NCIC.
• Teach and contribute to postgraduate medical education.
• Participate in clinical governance and service development.
