Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Diagnostic Radiographer in its Radiology Department. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary CT team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred CT services, including Cardiac CT and colonography.

You will participate in extended roles such as vetting and reporting of CT head scans, with a commitment to flexible working and 24/7 service provision. A HCPC registration and CPD evidence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or comparable higher education qualification in Diagnostic Radiography).
• Must be HCPC registered.
• Must have relevant prescribed clinical experience leading to qualification.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be calm under pressure and exhibit a caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Undertake CT examinations including Cardiac CT and colonography.
• Vetting and reporting CT head scans as part of extended roles.
• Work within a 24/7 CT scanning service across shifts.
