Jobbeschreibung

About Medserv

Medserv, an Irish company, has quickly established itself as the market leader in providing Medical billing and Practice management services throughout Ireland and the UK. Our clients include individual and group consultants, GP practices as well as private clinics and hospitals. Inspired by our values of Always innovating, Being trustworthy, Collaborating positively and Delivering results, we strive to ensure on-going client satisfaction by combining our innovative technology solutions with highly skilled teams.

About the Role

As the Rules Governance Lead you will be responsible for the accuracy, clarity, consistency and ongoing maintenance of our operational rules used to accurately generate invoices for clients.

The initial priority is to take ownership of the rules already created and establish effective governance, and support expansion of the rules library where genuine gaps exist.

The role will ensure rules are clear, unambiguous, non-duplicative, traceable and suitable for ingestion and use by AI tools, while remaining aligned with the fees database/fees governance processes, operational processes, client & insurer contractual requirements and Medserv system logic.

What you'll be doing
  • Own and maintain the IE+UK operational rules library, supporting the phased implementation of consistent governance arrangements across Ireland.
  • Assess the completeness of the current library and coordinate the controlled creation of additional rules where operational or system gaps are identified.
  • Create and maintain a clear rule taxonomy, naming convention, ownership model and approval workflow.
  • Review rules for accuracy, clarity, completeness and usability, removing vague wording, unnecessary complexity, and ambiguity.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, overlapping, obsolete, or conflicting rules.
  • Prepare rules for reliable AI and large language model ingestion by standardising language, separating distinct concepts and minimising dependence on implied knowledge.
  • Ensure rules are consistent with the fees database, client arrangements, insurer requirements and other authoritative business sources.
  • Implement controlled drafting, review, approval, publication and retirement processes for rules.
  • Maintain version history, audit trails, effective dates, source references and named business ownership for rule changes.
  • Manage a prioritised backlog of rule corrections, additions, clarifications and rationalisation work.
  • Provide clear reporting to the Quality Manager on risks, progress, backlog and material control weaknesses.
  • Work closely with Quality, Operations, Client Services, Fees Governance, IT, Product and other subject‑matter experts.
  • Develop the governance model so it can be extended from the UK to Ireland and ultimately applied consistently across Medserv.
