Job summary

Aligra Melksham in Westbury is seeking a Process Operator to join a dynamic rubber compound manufacturing team. The role covers operating equipment to produce high-quality rubber compounds and rotating day and night shifts. Training is provided and progression within the plant is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience, ideally with long shifts.
• Ability to work shift work (day and night rotations).
• Forklift training is a bonus but not essential (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality rubber compounds.
• Work a rotation of day (6am to 6pm) and night shifts (6pm to 6am).
• Handle milling tasks including set-up, banding, and cutting to specification.
• Make on-the-job adjustments to meet production standards.
• Opportunity to multi-skill and learn other processes within the plant.
