Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is recruiting for an RTA Fee Earner - Pre-Litigation in Preston. The role offers a salary of £24,784 - £28,000 OTE and is office-based, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

You will manage pre-litigation RTA claims and progress files from instruction to settlement. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in RTA pre-litigation, familiarity with CPR and MOJ Portal, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in an RTA pre-litigation role.
• Experience managing claimant RTA files from instruction through to settlement.
• Good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
• Experience using the MOJ Portal.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and case management systems.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of RTA claimant files from instruction through to settlement.
• Progressing claims through the pre-litigation and MOJ Portal process.
• Liaising with clients, insurers, Credit Hire providers and Accident Management companies.
• Reviewing and progressing claims in accordance with CPR, client protocols and relevant procedures.
• Maintaining regular and professional communication with clients throughout the claims journey.
• Negotiating settlements and progressing matters efficiently.
• Ensuring files are accurately maintained and fully updated on the case management system.
• Managing workload effectively within a busy, high-volume environment.
• Providing excellent client care and maintaining high professional standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues while taking responsibility for your own caseload.

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced RTA Fee Earner looking for your next career move? A well-established, multinational law firm based in Preston is looking for an experienced Pre-Litigation Fee Earner to join its successful Road Traffic Accident (RTA) team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year's RTA experience who is looking to build on their existing knowledge, take ownership of their own caseload and progress their legal career within a modern and supportive environment.

You'll be joining a professional, established team operating within a fully paperless office, using modern case management systems and structured processes to manage a busy claimant caseload.

The Role

As an RTA Fee Earner, you will manage your own portfolio of pre-litigation RTA claims, providing a high standard of service to clients while progressing files efficiently from instruction through to settlement.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already has experience within RTA claimant work and is confident managing files with a good level of independence.

Essential

• At least 1 year's experience in an RTA pre-litigation role
• Experience managing claimant RTA files from instruction through to settlement
• Good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
• Experience using the MOJ Portal
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and case management systems
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively to deadlines

Desirable

• Experience dealing with Credit Hire
• Experience working with Accident Management companies
• Previous experience using Proclaim or a similar case management system
• Experience within a high-volume claimant personal injury environment
• Exposure to litigation or progression beyond the pre-litigation stage
• CILEX/legal qualification or an interest in further professional development
