Job summary

Car rington Blake Recruitment is seeking an experienced Housing Inspector to join a team delivering inspections and enforcement under housing standards and legislation.

The role involves carrying out inspections using HHSRS, investigating conditions and hazards, taking enforcement action, preparing evidence and case files, and engaging with landlords, tenants and other stakeholders in a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Current HHSRS competency.
• Recent and substantial housing inspection/enforcement experience.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation.
• Hands-on experience issuing Civil Financial Penalties under the Housing Act 2004.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong investigation, report-writing and communication skills.

Job description

Work Pattern: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am–5:30pm. Hybrid – 3 days per week

Pay Rate: £60 per hour (This rate is currently advertised but to be confirmed whether its PAYE or Umbrella Rate)
