Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Delivery Operative in Crawley. You must hold a UK manual driving licence; experience not required. Will drive company vehicle or deliver on foot, and work rotating shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.

The role is temporary until Christmas with weekly pay at £13.69 per hour. You will complete the Royal Mail vetting process, including a basic DBS check, and join a team offering long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Willing to drive a company vehicle or work on foot.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.

Shifts for Royal Mail Delivery Operative (Must be flexible with your hours):

• Hours: Must be flexible to work rotating shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, including weekends.
• Pay for Royal Mail Delivery Operative:

• £13.69 per hour
• Paid weekly
• TEMPORARY POSITION UNTIL CHRISTMAS

Main Duties of Royal Mail Delivery Operative:

• Sortation of round prior to departure
• Vehicle checks
• Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
• Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You:

• You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
• Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot
• Be physically fit
• Happy to work outside in all weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
