Job summary

British Rowing is seeking a Project Activator to drive participation growth by working with clubs, schools, universities and partners. You will turn ideas into action, lead projects and test new formats while staying close to communities across regions.

This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic impact in a small national team. You will be on the ground shaping participation, coordinating volunteers, and reporting progress, with a hybrid working arrangement and regional travel to align

Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with clubs, schools and community partners.
• Ability to coordinate pilots and early roll-outs of new participation formats.
• Strong local networking and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Activate new indoor and on-water participation formats with clubs, schools, colleges and universities.
• Support pilots and early roll-outs of Learn to Row and participation events.
• Act as a first point of contact for clubs and partners on projects.
• Build trusted local relationships as the face of British Rowing in communities.
• Coordinate volunteers and contractors to deploy impact initiatives.
• Capture insights, report progress and celebrate successes.
