Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide day-to-day facilities and soft services management for Route accommodation, working with Route Property & Facilities Manager and contractors to ensure reliable, cost-effective and welcoming services nationwide.

The role, based in London Stratford Place, sits in Band 4B (£35,582 - £43,400) with a permanent contract. Benefits include generous leave, pension options, travel discounts, private healthcare and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and contract oversight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of the total facilities management contract.
• Maintain and enhance the facilities services strategy for workplace locations nationwide.
• Manage maintenance of workplace environment in line with health and safety policies.
• Advise on expenditure related to maintenance and renewal within budget.
• Develop relationships with internal teams and strategic sourcing partners.
