Job summary

Jigsaw Business Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for a multi-year rail maintenance framework spanning PPM and reactive maintenance across rail buildings, civils and infrastructure assets.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and RISQS, manage safety, quality and budget, and work closely with Network Rail, clients and suppliers to optimise performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading rail maintenance operations within a regulated environment.
  • Strong track record delivering PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Ability to manage budgets, procurement and contract performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
  • Full UK driving licence; rail safety qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mobilisation of a new rail maintenance framework.
  • Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance across assets.
  • Manage CAFM-driven maintenance scheduling and asset records.
  • Review RAMS, Work Package Plans, QA/QC documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and RISQS.
  • Manage procurement, budgets, invoicing and reporting.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team 24/7, mentoring and performance.
