The role:
Liverpool City Council is looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Rough Sleeping Service Support Officer to join our Housing Solutions Service.
This role will provide essential administrative and business support to our rough sleeping services, helping frontline officers and managers deliver an effective and responsive service to people experiencing, or at risk of, rough sleeping.
Working in a busy Housing Solutions environment, you will manage service enquiries, triage and allocate referrals, maintain accurate case information, monitor outstanding actions and provide high-quality administrative support to the service.
You will deal with enquiries from customers, professionals and partner organisations, ensuring information is recorded accurately and directed to the appropriate officer or team for action. You will understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy and timely responses when supporting services working with vulnerable people.
People experiencing rough sleeping may have contact with a range of services and agencies, so effective coordination and getting information to the right place at the right time is essential.
Through your work, you will support frontline colleagues to deliver effective services and contribute to Liverpool’s wider work to prevent and reduce rough sleeping and improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
