Webrecruit is assisting a client in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, to appoint a Print Operator on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves operating rotogravure presses to deliver precisely printed items and supporting setup, troubleshooting and production flow.

Applicants with printing experience or machinery experience and colour-matching capability are encouraged. The position may require 12-hour shifts, with a 48-hour weekly cap. A positive, detail-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous printing experience is required or experience with machinery.
• Experience with colour matching is desirable.
• Positive and flexible approach with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotogravure printing presses to produce printed items meeting customer needs.
• Set up, start, run, troubleshoot and shut down machines per production plan.
• May work 12 hour shifts, up to 48 hours per week.
