Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is hiring Print Assistants / Machine Operators in Scunthorpe for a full-time, 24/5 rotating shift role. Immediate starts available. You will support printing operations, monitor machinery, perform quality checks, and help keep production safe and efficient.

Prior print experience helps but full training is provided. Roles include loading materials, setting up machines, and ensuring accurate paperwork while maintaining housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Print department knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
• Commitment to health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the operation of printing and production machinery.
• Monitoring machines and production processes.
• Loading raw materials and removing finished products.
• Carrying out quality inspections and reporting any issues.
• Completing production paperwork and records.
• Assisting with machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Packaging, labelling, and preparing finished products.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Working towards production and efficiency targets.
