Fawkes & Reece Group in Hastings is seeking an experienced Roto 360 Telehandler Operator for an ongoing site assignment. You must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS CSCS card with the Roto 360 category and have a minimum of 3 years’ telehandler experience on construction sites.

You will operate the telehandler safely to lift, move and position materials, carry out pre-start checks, report defects and ensure loads are secured and loads are within capacity as per site procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS CSCS card with Roto 360 Telehandler category.
• Good understanding of safe load handling and machine stability.
• Ability to work safely in a busy site environment.

Responsabilités

The role

As the Roto 360 Telehandler Operator on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Operating a Roto 360 telehandler safely and efficiently to lift, move and position materials around the site.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment from delivery vehicles.
• Transporting and placing materials at height or in designated locations as required
• Using the rotating boom and lifting attachments to position loads accurately and safely.
• Carrying out lifting operations in accordance with site procedures and the manufacturer's guidelines.
• Ensuring loads are secure and the correct lifting attachments are used for each operation.
• Completing daily machine inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Adhering to site health and safety procedures, including safe working practices around other site personnel.
• Keeping the machine and working area clean, tidy and safe.

To be successful in your application for this role, you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• A current and valid CPCS card or NPORS CSCS card with the appropriate Roto 360 Telehandler category.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience operating a telehandler, ideally including Roto 360 machines.
• Experience carrying out lifting operations safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• A strong understanding of safe load handling, machine stability and site safety requirements.
