We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our Rotational Ward Clerk Team. The role offers variety and requires flexibility, efficiency, and independence to support a range of services.
The Rotational Ward Clerk provides essential administrative support for inpatient services at Tameside Hospital, including inpatient Wards, Same Day Emergency Care, and Early Pregnancy patient receptions, as well as general and specialist administration.
The role involves working various shifts between 7am and 9pm across a 7-day schedule. The successful candidate must be flexible to work these hours, including bank holidays.
Responsibilities include providing ward reception and administrative services, supporting patients, relatives, and staff as a first point of contact, and updating the Trust Electronic Patient Record (Lorenzo EPR) accurately and in real time, ensuring patient case notes are maintained throughout each admission.
