Job summary

Greencore Group plc seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager on a two-year fixed-term contract, starting January 2027. The role is site-based at Greencore Heathrow with a 6-month rotation across sites as the major systems integration programme progresses.

You will lead a manufacturing unit's supply chain, drive planning and S&OP processes, and collaborate across teams to achieve targets while developing capabilities and delivering change.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the convenience food market.
• Experience across all supply chain functions (forecasting, production planning and scheduling, SOP, inventory management, warehousing, distribution planning, distribution operations, third-party logistics management).
• Experience of leading and developing teams.
• Experience of working in a fast paced, growth industry or business.
• Experience of working as part of a project team or on delivering change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a supply chain team for a manufacturing unit to deliver business plans and targets.
• Implement the agreed supply chain strategy to achieve budgeted performance and build functional capability.
• Provide leadership to ensure teams are safe, engaged, developed and high performing.
• Promote safety and improve operating policies across all supply chain operations, including third parties.
• Identify audit requirements and develop plans to achieve compliance and secure resources as needed.
• Ensure forecasting, planning, stock control, warehousing and distribution meet customer service goals efficiently.
• Oversee Sales and Operations Planning to balance capacity, stocks and labour.
• Negotiate and manage third party contracts to minimise costs and ensure service delivery.
• Act as Supply Chain lead in cross-functional projects to implement changes and drive improvements.
