Job summary

WHS Plastics is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for rotational shifts to install, maintain and repair plant and equipment. You will respond to production issues, perform PPM tasks and minimise downtime while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing setting, and the ability to plan workloads and use CMMS tools effectively.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Completed Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities management and high-volume manufacturing.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance with LV knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair equipment and plant to ensure production efficiency.
• Respond to technical issues and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Attend breakdowns, identify faults and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and return equipment to operation quickly and safely.
• Plan and prioritise workload to support production targets.
• Operate the maintenance management system and log activities.
