Empower Talent is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for an established manufacturing business based in Renfrewshire. You will maintain and improve production equipment, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and minimise downtime while keeping the site safe and efficient.

The role suits engineers with manufacturing/production experience and an engineering qualification, with a 3-week rotating shift pattern and regular overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Experience with production machinery is advantageous.
• Comfortable with rotating shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Carry out repairs, modifications and improvements to manufacturing equipment.
• Support machinery installations and engineering projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Work closely with production and other members of the engineering team.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
• Work a 3-week rotating shift pattern.
• Overtime available.
