Job summary

Selexa Group Ltd is seeking Shift Maintenance Engineers to support a high-output food & manufacturing maintenance function. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and help optimise downtime and efficiency in a small team.

Responsibilities include maintaining process, production, packing and filling lines, hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical systems, and assisting with installation of new equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

C&G or similar Engineering Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5 years ideally production maintenance experience within a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering equipment, especially process, production, packing and filling lines.
Knowledge of PLC systems, automation and control circuits/systems.
Ideally food manufacturing and production experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance activity, ensuring task completion and safety guidelines adhered to.
Support equipment such as mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps and shaft drives.
Support complex breakdowns and advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
Ensure planned Engineering activities are delivered appropriately and on time.
Liaise with production & engineering management to communicate shift performance, issues and improvement opportunities.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities and shift handovers.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and best practices.
