Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a 12‑month Band 5 Occupational Therapist to manage a personal caseload across acute and community settings. The role rotates through medicine, stroke, frailty, intermediate care, with opportunities in hand therapy and paediatrics.

The post offers preceptorship in the first year and regular supervision from senior staff, with county-wide travel for community work and a requirement for HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• State registration (HCPC).
• Range of clinical education placements.
• Evidence of CPD activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of physical patient conditions and prioritise work autonomously.
• Make evidence-based clinical decisions across a range of physical conditions.
• Hold a standard caseload as a junior clinician.
• Rotate across medicine, stroke, frailty, intermediate care and community settings.
• Gain exposure to hand therapy and paediatrics.
